Actor, editor, screenwriter and director. Robert Parrish received an Academy Award for film editing in 1947 for Body and Soul. The son of Gordon and Laura Parrish, his family relocated from Georgia to Los Angles in the mid-1920s. Parrish appeared as an actor in All Quiet on the Western Front and City Lights, as well as various films for John Ford. John Martin Feeney, (February 1, 1894 – August 31, 1973), known professionally as John Ford, was an American film director and naval officer. He was born John Martin "Jack" Feeney on February 1, 1894 or 1895 (sources differ on the year) in Cape Elizabeth, Maine to John Augustine Feeney and Barbara "Abbey" Curran.
